Submissions
The Submissions screen lists every archive your organisation has sent. From it you start a submission, confirm its tasks and follow them.
"Submissions" is the first screen you see after you sign in. It lists every archive your organisation has sent, newest first. From it you start a submission, confirm the tasks that were found, and follow each task.
The list of submissions
The list has four columns.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Archive | The file name of the archive. Choose it to open the submission. |
| Collection | The collection name you gave the submission. |
| Sent | When you sent it. |
| Tasks | Where the submission stands. See the counts below. |
When your organisation has sent nothing, the screen shows "No submissions yet". It offers two controls: "Read the intake standard" and "New submission".
Start a submission
- Choose "New submission".
- Enter a "Collection name". This is the name of this set of tasks. A name is used once.
- Under "Task archive", choose a zip or a tar file, or drop it on the field.
- Choose "Send".
You send tasks as one archive. The screen lists the limits of an archive: the size of the archive, the size of what it holds once opened, the number of files and folders, and the number of tasks in one submission.
After you send the archive, the submission shows "Reading your source". Horizon Audit opens the archive and lists the tasks it finds. Nothing runs yet.
When the archive cannot be read
If the archive cannot be read, holds no task, holds two tasks with one name, or is over a limit, the submission shows "Needs from you". The screen says why. You have two choices:
- Choose a corrected archive and choose "Send". The submission keeps its collection name.
- Choose "Cancel submission".
The preview
When the archive has been read, the submission shows the preview. Its heading gives the number of tasks found. Each task is listed with its name, its path in the archive and its digest.
Every task is selected at first. Clear the checkbox of a task to leave it out. Only the tasks you leave selected are checked and audited.
Confirm or cancel
- Choose the "Confirm" button to start. The button gives the number of tasks you selected. Each selected task is then held to the intake standard.
- Choose "Cancel submission" to stop. A dialog asks "Cancel this submission?". Choose "Cancel submission" again to cancel it, or "Keep it" to go back.
Nothing runs until you confirm. A cancelled submission shows "Cancelled", and none of its tasks is audited. Its collection name stays used: to send those tasks again, use a new name.
The counts by task label
A submission has no verdict of its own. After you confirm, the "Tasks" column shows how many tasks have each label, for example how many are "Checking", "Needs from you", "Clean" or "Flawed". See task states for every label.
Each task moves on its own. A result appears as soon as its task is done, while other tasks are still running.
The tasks of a submission
Open a submission to see its tasks. The page shows the "Collection", when it was "Sent", and the counts. Below them is a table with four columns: "Task", "Path", "Label" and "Band". Choose a task to open the task screen.
A request that applies to every task of the submission is shown once, under "Needed for every task".
Before you send
Read the intake standard and prepare a Harbor task. A task that misses a rule is not judged. It comes back as "Needs from you".
