A band says how much work an audit of the task is. Every task that meets the intake standard gets one of four bands: Basic, Standard, Complex or Specialist.

## The four bands

- Basic
- Standard
- Complex
- Specialist

## What a band is for

A band is about the audit. It is not a verdict, and it says nothing about whether the task is clean or flawed. A task in any band can be clean, and a task in any band can be flawed.

You do not need to do anything about a band.

## Where you see the band

- The task list of a submission has a "Band" column.
- The task screen shows the band beside the label of the task.

A task that was not given a band shows none.
